We threw out everything we knew about helmets, and started from 0.
No adaptations, peeking at other brand’s homework, or putting lipstick on a pig.
We knew it had to fit perfectly, feel amazing and be safe.
We wanted there to be unlimited color and personalisation options.
There would be no “shrink and pink” women’s lines.
It had to fit every head perfectly, regardless of background or ethnicity.
It had to be a genuine leap forward in brain protection.
It took 7 years, thousands of drop tests, hundreds of prototypes and destroying 2 dining tables at our Rob’s parents house - but we did it. We’re excited to share it with you.

We meticulously designed 85 individual parts to work together seamlessly to ensure that it automatically shifts to fit every head perfectly, all while remaining rock solid when you need it most.
Dual Stage Liner (patented)
No two impacts are the same, so we use a combination of protection layers to keep you safer – from the little bumps to the big hits.
Occipital Cup
“It feels like a hug”. The OC is a self-tensioning element that ensures the A2 fits low, snug and comfortably all around the head.
Centre of Gravity/
Mass Centralisation
The A1’s Dynamic Frame was designed to remain as close to your natural centre of gravity as possible. This mass centralisation makes the A2 feel like you’ve got nothing on at all, with its incredible fit, low swing weight and better impact performance.
Non-Newtonian Materials (patented)
We use non-Newtonian materials in our dual stage liner. Our NNM’s start soft, then harden dynamically under impact, offering superior impact protection across all impact levels.

From the
Horse's Mouth
Rob created this helmet after his own crash at Coronet Peak, NZ. After writing his engineering thesis on helmet testing, he decided to make the helmet he and his mates needed. After 7 years of R&D, this is how we did it.
